A standard CO2 tank without a siphon tube sends gas instead of liquid, and you get a weak hiss instead of a blast. It is the single most common mistake people make when they source their own tank.
Each cylinder holds 20 pounds and arrives full, with a standard CGA 320 valve that connects to any common CO2 jet or cannon hose. A 20lb tank typically covers somewhere around 20 to 40 blasts, depending on how long you hold each one and how many jets are running off it. For a grand entrance plus a few dance floor hits, one tank is usually plenty. For a full night of drops, plan on two.

What is included
Full 20lb siphon tank, tank strap or stand for securing it, and a walkthrough on connection and safe operation. Hoses and jets are separate, and we can quote them together.
Rent it with
CO2 jets or handheld cannons, extension hoses in the length your setup needs, and a technician who connects everything, positions the jets, and fires them on cue with the music. Most clients add the operator, since the effect lands best when it is timed to a specific moment rather than fired by hand.

Safety and venue approval
CO2 is not pyrotechnic, so it does not usually require a fire permit, but almost every venue wants to know in advance. Some ban it outright, and some limit it in low-ceiling or poorly ventilated rooms. Tell us your venue when you enquire, and we will confirm what they allow.
A few things that matter on the night. The tank stays upright and strapped so it cannot fall. Jets are never aimed at guests at close range, since the discharge is extremely cold and can cause frostbite. The room also needs ventilation, since CO2 displaces oxygen in enclosed spaces. If you are running it yourself, we go through all of this with you at handover. If our technician is on site, it is handled.

Why do I need a siphon tube?
CO2 jets need liquid CO2 to make a visible plume. The siphon tube reaches the bottom of the tank where the liquid sits. Without it you get gas and almost no effect.
How many blasts do I get from one tank?
Roughly 20 to 40, depending on blast length and how many jets are connected. Short one-second bursts stretch much further than long five-second holds.
Does the tank come full?
Yes. Every tank is delivered full and pressure tested.
Do I need to turn the tank upside down?
No. Siphon tanks stay upright. Inverting is only for tanks without a siphon tube, and it is not something you should do at an event.
Will my venue allow CO2?
Most do, but confirm before booking. Low ceilings, smoke sensors, and ventilation are the usual concerns. Send us the venue name and we will check.
Is it safe around guests?
Yes, when it is set up and aimed correctly. The discharge is very cold, so jets are positioned away from where people stand. Our technician handles placement, or we walk you through it at pickup.
Can I rent the jets too?
Yes. We supply the jets, hoses, and an operator, and can quote everything as one package.
Do you refill my own tank?
