A plain CO2 jet is white. This one is whatever color you want. Built-in RGB LEDs light the plume from inside as it fires, so the blast comes out red, blue, gold, or matched to your uplighting. On camera, it is the difference between a white puff and a moment that looks like it belongs in a music video.

The jet fires a fast, cold plume up to around 8 meters, dissipating in seconds and leaving no residue, no oil, and nothing on the dance floor. It does not set off smoke detectors the way haze can, which is why venues that ban fog will often still allow CO2.

Run it on DMX, so your DJ or lighting operator can fire it on a specific beat, or use the manual trigger and hand control for a simpler setup. Two jets flanking a stage is the most common configuration. Four across a larger stage or dance floor gives you a wall of color on the drop.

What you need to run it
The jet is only half the setup. You also need a CO2 tank with an internal siphon tube, which produces the thick white plume, plus a hose the right length for your room. We rent the 20lb siphon tank and hoses alongside this and can quote everything together so nothing is missing on the day.

A 20lb tank runs roughly 20 to 40 blasts depending on how long each one is held and how many jets are connected. Tell us how many moments you are planning and we will size it.

Add an operator
Most clients add a technician. The effect works best when it is timed to a specific beat rather than fired by hand, and a technician handles the tank, the hose runs, the jet placement, and the cue. If you are running it yourself, we go through the setup and the safety at handover.

Safety and venue approval
CO2 is not pyrotechnic and usually does not need a fire permit, but nearly every venue wants to know in advance. Some restrict it in low-ceiling or poorly ventilated rooms. Send us your venue name, and we will confirm what they allow.

On the night, the tank stays upright and strapped, jets are aimed away from where guests stand since the discharge is extremely cold, and the room needs ventilation because CO2 displaces oxygen in enclosed spaces. Our technician handles all of it, or we walk you through it if you are running it yourself.

Does the tank come with it?
No, it is separate. You need a 20lb CO2 tank with a siphon tube, which we rent alongside this. We will quote both together.

What is the difference between this and a regular CO2 jet?
The plume is the same. This one has RGB LEDs inside that light the blast in color as it fires.

Can I match it to my event colors?
Yes. Pick a color, or run it on DMX and change color between moments.

How many jets do I need?
Two flanking the stage or DJ booth covers most events. Four across a larger stage gives you a full wall of color.

Will it set off the sprinklers or smoke alarms?
CO2 is a cold gas, not smoke, so it does not trigger optical smoke detectors the way haze does. Still worth confirming with your venue.

Does it leave a mess?
No. It is completely dry and evaporates in seconds. Nothing to clean up and nothing slippery on the floor.

Can it be used outside?
Yes, though wind will break up the plume. Covered or partly enclosed areas hold the effect better.

Is it safe near guests?
Yes, when placed correctly. The discharge is very cold, so jets are positioned so nobody is in the path at close range.
