This is the effect your MC, your DJ, or you hold in your hand and fire when the moment calls for it. A handheld cryo gun connected to a CO2 tank, shooting a thick white plume with LED lighting in the barrel that you can set to any color.
It is the simplest effect we rent. There is no controller, no programming, and no rigging. You connect the hose to the tank, pick a color, and pull the trigger. Anyone can run it after thirty seconds of instruction, which is why it works so well in the hands of a host who wants to fire it on a chorus or during the hora without waiting on a technician.
The blast is cold gas, not smoke. It disappears in seconds, leaves nothing on the floor, and does not trigger the optical smoke detectors that get haze banned in a lot of venues.
This one comes as a complete package. Gun, hose, and the CO2 tank with a siphon tube, delivered full. Nothing else to source.

How long it lasts
A 20lb tank runs roughly 20 to 40 blasts, depending on how long each trigger pull is held. Short bursts stretch a lot further than long holds. If you are planning a full night of moments, take a second tank so you are not empty by the time the dance floor peaks. Tell us how many moments you have in mind and we will size it for you.
Add a second gun
Two guns from one tank, fired from opposite sides of the floor, is a much bigger look than one. We can split the line and supply both.
Pair it with
LED CO2 jets mounted on stage, cold spark units, a laser, moving heads, or uplighting in your color. We can quote the whole effects setup together.
Safety, the part that actually matters
The discharge is extremely cold. Never point it at anyone’s face or at bare skin at close range, and do not hand it to a guest who has been drinking. Keep the plume aimed up and over the crowd, not into it.
The tank stays upright and strapped down at all times. The room needs ventilation, since CO2 displaces oxygen in enclosed spaces. And check with your venue before your date. CO2 is not pyrotechnic and usually does not need a fire permit, but most venues want to know in advance, and some restrict it in low-ceiling rooms.

FAQ block
Does this come with the CO2 tank?
Yes. Gun, hose, and a full siphon tank are all included. Nothing else to arrange.
How hard is it to use?
Not hard at all. Connect the hose, pick your color, pull the trigger. We show you at pickup or delivery.
Can a guest use it?
We recommend keeping it with your DJ, MC, or one person you trust. It is very cold at close range and works best with someone who knows where to aim.
Can I change the color during the party?
Yes. The barrel LEDs switch between colors, so you can match the room or change it between moments.
Will it set off smoke alarms?
CO2 is a cold gas rather than smoke, so it does not trigger optical detectors the way haze does. Still worth confirming with your venue.
Does it leave anything on the floor?
No. It is completely dry and evaporates in seconds. Nothing slippery and nothing to clean up.
How many blasts do I get?
About 20 to 40 from a 20lb tank, depending on how long you hold each one.
Can I rent two guns?
Yes, and they can run off the same tank. Two guns from opposite sides of the floor is a much stronger look.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, though wind breaks up the plume. Covered areas hold the effect better.
